Thanks for the encouragement, Reinhard, Kevin and Brooke. Hope you are doing well. Welcome new members; I'm no longer the new kid on the block. Today is my daughter's birthday, and I cooked supper while I babysat. I decided that it was a legitimate S day, so I could have had peanut butter, but I was busy and just didn't want to bother. When she came home we ate a delicious meal, and I could have had seconds, but I was comfortable and there was no urgency. At 7 we went to the third grader's concert: 140 enthusiastic choristers. It was like a meal for the soul. Back at their house, we lit the candles, and though the cake tasted like more, my small piece was enough. I'm so glad I found this group. Is this honeymoon fever, or does it last? For the first time in my long dieting history, I don't pine over forbidden foods. Peace, everyone, Ginny [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
